Positive Hollywood Guitar Center In Los Angeles Customer Reviews
The first customer we evaluated had a great shopping experience at the Hollywood Guitar Center In Los Angeles and described it as a tiny, Guitar Museum. He said that he couldn't really vouch for the other locations and his review was based specifically on the quality of the guitars they carried, the quality of the customer service that was offered and the store. When you walk across the floor that leads to the entrance of the store you will see a large aggregation of custom hand prints resembling popular bands as well as celebrity rock stars. Some of the older Iconic Guitars that were used by the original famous owners are viewable from the outside and scream big time tradition.
Also if you take a look at the right hand side of the entrance, you will notice some commemorative plaques from some Guitar Legends who had their Rock N' Roll heyday but unfortunately are no longer with us. If you happen to be into gift shopping there's a gift shop right next door to this Guitar Center In Los Angeles as well. The Guitar Center In Los Angeles Hollywood location has an impressive inventory of electic guitars. You can go here to peruse all the high end Gibson Les Pauls and Fender Strats. You will notice that the Guitars hang above you as you talk through the store and are very well organized into groups. You will also find some Ibanez, Schecter and Jackson Guitars on the floor. Although they don't carry as many of these as a lot of the other stores do, the ones they do carry are usually the ones the other Guitar Centers in the LA area don't have in stock.
The Guitar Center In Los Angeles Hollywood store also has a nice aggregation of Guitar Amplifiers that are evenly distributed on their store floor along with their guitars. Even though it will seem like every square inch of the floor is covered with Electric Guitars and Amplifiers, there's actually a little room left to walk still. The Hollywood Store does have a tiny room that carries used and acoustic guitars and even some unique vintage instruments. Some of their high end vintage toys have 5 figure price tags but are still very fun to admire.
Another customer mentioned that he liked the Hollywood Guitar Center In Los Angeles a lot. He believes you can't walk in there with the same mentality that you are shopping on Amazon or Craigslist. If you do you will be disappointed because the Guitar Center is a retail store. However considering their impressive quality of guitars and guitar parts their prices are very competitive. The store used to sell to the spoon fed crowd but now they do business with any customer off the street. And since they also have an Online E-Commerce Store it caters to internet shoppers all over the world.
One customer mentioned the Hollywood Guitar Center In Los Angeles had a very impressive Vintage Room. One example was a Slash Used Gibson Les Paul which had a six figure price tag attached to it. This customer was even fortunate enough to meet some famous people in the same area this store is located in. There's a good chance you could meet some famous people as well if you drop by the Hollywood Guitar Center In Los Angeles.
I would recommend doing a little bit of independent research before going out and purchasing one of these guitars. If you know someone in the guitar industry it will help you out a lot. You don't want to end up being a victim of overpaying more than you should have to. The good news is that if you need a guitar part or product they don't have in their showroom they will work hard to find it and order it for you. If you are involved in the music industry in any way this store IMHO should become a mandatory place on your visiting list. Finally if you wanted to plan a full day of Guitar Shopping and the Guitar Center In Los Angeles doesn't have what you need, you can just walk across the street to Sam Ash and also shop at many other Vintage Guitar Shops located within just a few short blocks of this store.
Another shopper at the Guitar Center In Los Angeles mentioned that there's a lot more benefits to visiting this store than just the cool lights and instruments shoppers originally see from the outside of the store looking in. The reason so many people visit the Guitar Center In Los Angeles is because complete neophytes get a chance to toy with equipment worth tens of thousands of dollars. You do get the high school students with black dyed hair hanging out here after school playing with the guitar frets and the drums but I guess that is better than going out shopping for guns and ammunition.
Most customers also agree that the Hollywood Guitar Center In Los Angeles is the best location when compared to the rest of their stores in the LA area. The Guitar Center has everything you need to bang out any Metallica or Megadeth song as well as highly impress your last 20 friends you just made on social media. And before grabbing your next hamburger for lunch remember that your fingers had about 5,000 hippie predecessors that ALSO slid their fingers across the same Gibson Flying-V that you did. I say this because they don't provide Sani-Wipes to potential customers. Remember if you can't afford a Porsche yet you can always crank out some rifts on your favorite Gibson Guitar. Since young teenagers are decades away from being able to afford one you can see why they like to hang out here so much.
The Hollywood Guitar Center In Los Angeles is now putting their EVH Kramer Kickballs 8000 in the front where visitors can see them before entering the store. Their most pricey Axes are located in the back Vintage Room. The funny thing is that the only way to get to the Vintage Room is to go through the Acoustic Guitar Room which most Electric Guitar Aficionados try to avoid like the plague.
The Guitar Center In Los Angeles Acoustic Guitar Room has a look to it like the sauna at your local gym and doesn't smell too great either. One customer seems to think that your ultra hard-core music types hand out in this area. In mean this is supposed to be a store and a place of business. Are people really allowed to just hang out there and is this really good for business? Aside from this though you will be able to locate a few Martin & Co. Guitars, however be prepared to pay around $20,000 for one. Please be advised that once you finally navigate through the Acoustic Guitar Room you'll eventually find a small marked door that says Vintage Room. Don't worry they don't currently frisk people entering this room. Everything in this "secret room" is worth thousands of dollars or more up to six figures.
